What an incredible journey it has been! The IEOM Society AUST Student Chapter recently concluded BaseCamp, an ultimate bootcamp designed to seamlessly blend soft skills with tech brilliance, providing an unparalleled learning experience for our students.
From mastering the art of the perfect CV to battling it out in intense business case scenarios and crunching complex data, BaseCamp pushed participants to conquer new heights. Here is a look back at the highlights, our brilliant champions, and the esteemed partners and judges who made it all possible.
SprintUp: Where Strategy Meets Communication
The SprintUp segment focused on vital career-building skills. It featured "Master Your CV," an interactive session unlocking the secrets of crafting professional resumes.
The highlight, however, was Bizz Battlers, a rigorous business case competition. To give participants a taste of real-world challenges, it included an engaging Focused Group Discussion (FGD) round, testing their teamwork dynamics and on-the-spot strategic thinking.

AXcelerate: Mastering the Data
The AXcelerate segment was all about technical prowess. It featured a PowerPoint MasterClass to refine presentation skills and two intensive Excel training sessions. These sessions culminated in a thrilling Excel Competition designed to test analytical abilities under pressure.
