The IEOM Society is a premier global organization that provides a forum for people with similar interests to communicate and network through yearly conferences / seminars / workshops held around the world, as well as research publications to disseminate the knowledge gained.

The IEOM Society AUST Student Chapter is currently working under the supervision of faculty advisor Ms. Afia Ahsan , Lecturer, Department of MPE, AUST. The Student Chapter is an initiative taken by AUST with the IEOM Society International where students can prepare for their careers and gain lifelong practical skills. Currently, the IEOM Society AUST Student chapter has a total of 1,132 proud members.
IEOM Society AUST Student chapter was established in 2015, under the direction of Professor Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed who is the current Chairman of IEOM Society Bangladesh. The chapter was re-established in December 2020 and has been running strongly from then on.
IEOM Student Chapter can help professionals / students in the development or enhancement their outer important skills, including: leadership, communications, organization, planning, time management, budgeting and finance, and other professional skills. Those can help to prepare for their career and to be successful in longer term.
