The Champions Revealed: Winners of "Innovate" and "Excel Your Way"
"It's not the will to win that matters—everyone has that. It's the will to prepare to win that matters." – Paul Bear
After a fierce fight between the best minds of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), the wait is finally over! The IEOM Society AUST Student Chapter is incredibly proud to announce the final results for two of our most anticipated events: the idea and innovation competition "Innovate" and our first-ever MS Excel competition "Excel Your Way".
Here are the brilliant individuals and teams who brought their absolute best to the table.
"Innovate": Sustainable Development Through Innovation
Sponsored by IEOM International, "Innovate" challenged undergraduate students across all AUST departments to think erratically, generate startling ideas, and energize those concepts into substantial reality.
With a focus on "Sustainable Development of Bangladesh through Innovation," teams presented 12-slide pitch decks aiming to solve pressing issues in Agriculture, Metro Cities, the RMG Industry, the Power Sector, Education, and Women's Safety. After the top 8 teams pitched their ideas live to our judges, these three teams emerged victorious to claim their share of the prize pool:
Champion: Team Rockbottom
1st Runner-up: Team Vizards
2nd Runner-up: Team Whistleblowers
"Excel Your Way": Mastering the Data
Powered by Interactive Care, "Excel Your Way" was a first-of-its-kind event at AUST designed to turn students into Microsoft Excel experts. Combining an intensive online workshop with a rigorous competition, participants proved their technical prowess and analytical skills.
Congratulations to the spreadsheet masters who took the top spots:
Champion: Sabbir Hasan
1st Runner-up: Md. Istiakul Haque
2nd Runner-up: Tanjim Minhaj Mhair
